Argh, school's starting tomorrow after some really pleasant but short holidays- and I'm thinking that perhaps I should leave and try living my life as an outlaw wandering the cities for money because, man, does studying suck. I can't even put my anger into words- I want to be a damn artist and not some kind of larger-than-life manager of a larger-than-life company.
If it wouldn't be for reaching the neccessary qualifications I would leave this hell hole immediately and without regrets.
Seriously, what good did school do to many artists? Nothing! Many of them hated it because it kept them from fulfilling their true wishes.

Yeah, name's Katharina and I come from Germany- someday I'd like to be a professional artist but I realize that there's much for me left to learn, for example being more daring and being more individual in my style and works. (I tend to think that my pictures could be crazier if I just had the guts to do what I want to but I'm lacking in self-confidence. )
If being an artist shouldn't work for me I'd like to become a researcher, writing books about society, prejudice and how hierarchies get constructed and maintained- since I'm a feminist my research would be one to benefit women, children and all the other abused and underprivileged groups
